Landlords on RentsMatch may NOT:

• Advertise preferences or limitations based on a protected class
• Impose different application requirements based on a protected class
• Refuse reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities

4. Reasonable Accommodations

Landlords must provide reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities, including allowing assistance animals and providing accessible parking.

5. Permissible Screening Criteria

Landlords may use objective, consistently applied criteria including:

• Income and ability to pay rent
• Credit history and credit score
• Rental history and references
• Employment verification
